Site of 750,000 sq. ft. Pillette Road Truck Assembly Plant (PRTAP) demolished 2004 due to disintegration of the North American Auto Pact.
Built by Chrysler in 1974 for the production of vehicles for the Canadian Armed Forces, it produced Chrysler B Series vans from 1976 until it was closed in 2003. Sometimes known as Plant 6, it produced a full sized passenger and utility van sold as the Dodge Ram Van and Dodge Ram Wagon.
Over its lifetime the plant produced a total of 2,309,399 vehicles with peak production of 124,124 in 1984.
