First built in 1917 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, prior to opening at Kings Dominion in the park's first season, it operated at Riverside Park in Springfield, Massachusetts, from 1917 to 1938. From 1938 to 1973 it was at Roger Williams Park in Providence, R.I. It was installed at Kings Dominion in 1975. This all-wood carousel features 50 jumping horses, 16 standing horses, and two chariots, spread out over four rows.
