Seulawah Agam volcano is located in northern Aceh, Sumatra, 40 km SE of Banda Aceh. This Volcano has been given many different names: such as Seulawaih Agam, Seulawain Agam, Solawa Agam, Solawaik Agam, Selawadjanten and Goldberg. There are three craters. Only Tanah Cempago crater can be recognised, as the others are covered with vegetation. Lam Teuba caldera extends 15 km NW of the volcano and has a width of 122 km. The Lam Teuba-Bora Fault is an offshoot of the Great Sumatera Fault. Three geothermal areas are present covering an area of 50,000 sq m - Tanah Simpaga, Kuali, and Ie Joh.
