  I am very much proud to say that I got the opportunity to have my Education in Muthiah Polytechnic in 1958, the First Batch of the same Polytechnic. Since it was a begining time, we were clubbed with Engineering & Technology Department and used to have our Class rooms in the above said building. That time RSA Hostel and Travancore Hostel were the two Hostels for E & T Students. Apart from that, thatched sheds were provided for the Poly Students. Myself and Mr.RVS Mani, my cloeague were the Students to perform the Prayer and National Anthem during the course of the programmes conducted in the Srinivasa Sastri Hall at Annamalai Nagar. Mr. Mustafa Kamal was our English Lecturer as well as our NCC Rifles Officer. I had the opportunity to undergo the Rifles Training Camp at Trichy in the Service Rifle section. I was a L.Corp. I stepped out of the University in 1962. But I cannot forget my olden days. But I never forget my University because I sent my Daughter to this University who has taken her B.Com, MBA from Alagappa University and PG Dip. in PM & IR through our Institution.Thanks for the same. I would like to know more about our Polytechnic and the Staff members there.Once again my Thanks. With respectful regards, Raghava Iyer.
