  • The mountain above Anavissos and Saronida. It has two peaks, which separates a deep ravine where today became the new dump of Anavissos. The highest peak, 486 meters high, called Olympus, and is above the Anavissos Saronida and in the center of the mountain. The second peak of the northern part, above the St. Panteleimon, 357 meters high, called Skordi. Many call it over the mountain instead of Skordi Olympus. Also, R. Lepsius in his book "The geology of Attica" in 1906 over the mountain called Skordi. The J.A.Kaupert however in the map in 1887 refers to the highest peak of Olympus and the second at a height of Skordi. The official maps of the GSA and NSSG over the mountain called Olympus and the lowest peak Skordi. (source http://www.silia.gr/t/topon.htm)
