Baldeo also spelt as Baldev is a town and Nagar Panchayat in Baldeo Block Mahavan Tehsil in Mathura District of Uttar Pradesh. This town is also the Block Headquarter in Mahavan Tehsil.
Baldeo, also known as Dauji, is 20 km south-east of Mathura and 8 km south-east of Mahavan on the road to Sadabad. Baldeo derives its name from the famous temple dedicated to Balram, the elder brother of Lord Krishna. The temple was built by Shyam Das of Delhi 200 years ago. The main image in the sanctum is that of Baldeo or Balram with his spouse Revati. Nearby is the brick lined tank, the Ksheer Sagar or Balbhadra Kund, from where the original image housed in the temple was found.

Baldeo is famous for two other temples, Banke-Behari and Harideva. The biggest festival is Agahan ka Mela, which is celebrated on the 15th day of the bright half of the lunar month Agrahayana.

The place can be reached via Mathura. Agra airport is about 62 km from Mathura. Mathura is on the main lines of the Central and Western Railways and is connected with major cities such as Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Jaipur, Gwalior, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Lucknow.

    this is a nice place. there ia a very beautiful tample of lord krishna's brother balram and his wife rewati where thousands of people come to face of lord Balram and his wife Rewati. There is a beautiful market and the famous things of Baldeo(dauji) are "Makhan Mishri & Rawadi".............
