22nd district of haryana. Famous for One of the First Cement Plants of India, now defunct though. Came in news due to mid air collision in 1996, which is 3rd biggest aviation disaster till date.
The city is a melange of people from various ethnic mix, but predominent communities that inhihabit the place are of Jats, Baniyas and Brahmins.
Geographically located at 100 km from Delhi on Delhi Loharu Road.

  • A small town which is slowly losing its small town charm. Thanks to increasing traffic that leads to choked roads and streets almost everyday. Infrastructure is in dismal shape due to failure of administration and state government snub. Education moving nowhere, still stuck in Dadri Education Society era (in fact situation getting worse). Once a peacful city to live in,, now marked by, its misguided youth, shabby infrastructure and zillions of dumpers that have hogged the roads for good. Anyways known for the following- 1. Largest Tehsil in haryana. 2. Home of former Chief Minister BD Gupta. 3. One of the earlier industries in India viz Cement Plant (thanks od the plant is defunct now and inhibitants are spapred of the dust those irritating hooters) 4. Mid air collision of two planes (and the infamous callous plundering that followed after the crash) 5. Haathi Park (now called Chaudhri DevilalPark, like every single park in haryana, f u chautala!!)
