Porter County Hospital relocated from this site in August 2012 to a new facility north of Valparaiso and sold this site to Valparaiso University. The University demolished the hospital complex (save for a parking garage on the north side of the site) in 2013 to make room for a future fieldhouse and athletic facilities.
