Enter the abandoned Hollywood Tower Hotel, and step into your very own episode of The Twilight Zone as you board a haunted elevator to another dimension. Opened on July 22, 1994, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror features multiple 13 story drops and lifts, at random, faster than gravity.
The back of the tower was not left blank like what normally happens with rides at the edge of a theme park, instead it was also designed to blend in with the the architecture of the Morocco pavilion at nearby Epcot which it sits directly behind.

  • yes it does. The elevator accelerates as you fall. It gives you more air-time. You feel zero-gravity for a very breif moment.
