Yeour hills are definitely recommended for those with affinity for nature. Situated within the green lung of the concrete jungle, Yeour Hills is a part of Borivili National Park. 80% of its land is under the Forest conservation department. In the past, portions of the valleys have been army base which have now been returned to the land owners or the park. Many western Mumbai residents of high status quo are members of the Golden Swan club and or visit Yeour as a getaway place with a feeling of remoteness within the city. There are few good restaurants, Swami's Math, The Adivasi village and for those who might get lucky, a glimpse of wildlife can be a blissful sight. Stay away from the monkeys and at a safe distance from the panthers. There have been known cases of maneaters in this hood.
