Pattamangalam in Sivaganga District is famous for Lord Thaksanamoorthy temple which is situated near Pillayarpatti. It gives completely a different view of Lord Thaksanamoorthy whose statue is placed under the root of vast Banyan tree, which has hundreds of aerial roots. The speciality in this temple is that the circumference of the tree will be about 50-60 meters.
