The Pistoia Cementery was used to bury 499 brazilian soldiers killed in action during the World War II Italian Campaign. The FEB (Força Expedicionaria Brasileira) fought in the Tuscanny region of Italy from 1944 till V-E Day and received many awards from the Allied Command for its valour and courage in action.
