Former names - Moosehead, Porpoise and Mayflower. Wreck is often incorrectly identified as the Navy Ferry Boat. Owned by U. S. Army Transportation Corps and built in 1911 at Bath, ME. On December 17, 1941 the ship struck Hens and Chickens Reef and sank within 30 minutes.
