Pikermi in the ancient times consisted the attic Municipality of Tithra, located at the mesogea trittia, according to the organizational structure of Klisthenis. Today it is a picturesque village of East Attica, at the environs of Athens.

The commune of 20,882 square km is built at the southeastern hills of Penteli and unfolds throughout the ancient marathonian route. The settlements that constitute the commune of the 2.931 residents (2001) are Drafi, Pikermi, Dioni, Dasamari and Palios Milos (Old Mill).
