Vayaliparambil Pynadath is an ancient Syrian Christian family having its roots at Nedumbashery. The family migrated to Perumbavoor during early 19th Century, under Late. Adv. P.T. Vargehese (Kuru Vakkel).
Adv. P.T. Varghese was a astute lawyer and a prominent political figure in Perumbavoor. He was Perumbavoor Village Panchayat President from 1947 to 1961. From 1961, his son Late P.V. Thomas inherited the task of leading Perumaboor to a Municipality and was a Member of Municipality from 1961 to 1975.
Adv. P.T. Geeverghese, the present head of the family is also a leading figure in Perumbavoor's political and social arena and a brilliant civil lawyer practicing at Perumbavoor Sub-Court. His son P.Thomas Geeverghese, is also a lawyer practicing in Kerala High Court.
