An earthfill dam that is 1660M long and 42M high built on the Moose Mountain creek. It was constructed as part of the Rafferty-Alameda Project, during 1988-95 period, providing flood protection for downstream residents in Saskatchewan and North Dakota and the additional control of the water supply for irrigation projects.
