  • This is the place where a big history happened and was never documented. This is the place where one hundred percent Muslims settle to live. This is the war between the Philippine Army and the Rebels. It happened the year of 1972 through the year 1975 off and on. And up to then still happening People move out to look for a peaceful place to live. The call the war " No Man's Land sweep them all. Infant,Young and old innocent people killed sometimes burried alive and sometmes tortured them. No justice was served for all of the innocent lives that perish with this war. This is a very sad and unforgetable tragedy. There's no day that we are not scared,I remember craying while hearing the bomb go off and saw the bright lights in the distance day and night we evacuated several times a week running out of the way. i remember my Dad gather all his tenant to dig a big deep pit for everybody to stay for few day to hide,our lives was misserably interupted we can't eat nor can't sleep during the night. This war was very unpredictable
  • Right! 1972 was the start of the unrest. Looking from the NDM, we could hear gun fires and see lights flashing. This I could never forget.
  • I could only blame one group for the incident, the Blackshirt, the arm group of muslim separatist declared jihad to christians living the area and nearby barrios. I hope they know what really mean of Jihad. Jihad is only declared if there are groups or individual against the belief and persecuting the believers. I know the Christians living in the area are not harassing or intimidating the Islamic believers for Christians are respecting their ways of worship with the same God or Allah. I hope this message reaches to all concerned, Muslim, Christians, Judaism for this three major religion believe in one Creator/Maker. "God", "Allah". War give dislocation and lasting hatred between two groups with the same blood "Pilipino"
  • CVV, I seems to know you...you must be belong to NDM alumni class of'73... Yes your right, 1972 was the begining of the unrest in the region and it happen when I was vacationing in the area.
  • kolong kolong is my hometown this is where i became a man and anything happen to this land i will fight for it for the sake of my beloved home
