  • The early settler's on this beautiful fertile land are the Bacomo family, The Mataganas family, the Melitante family, the Casabuena family, Analista family, The Martillo family. This are just the few Family of many early settlers on this area that I can remember ( pasensia na po kayo, gurang na man ta). Most of their sons and daughters are Notre Dame of Milbuk Alumni. Im calling to all NDM alumni originated from this place called Napnapon, to log on on the website and to be counted. Lets us join together be connected and share lifetime experience even just on the website. Ma-ayong adlaw sa inyong tanan, God Bless Us all, sayonara as always.
  • Early settler of this area were the Romero also, I heard from my parents their stories about family friends over there. The Romeros and the Mataganas. When the olds met before, I always heard repeated stories on unforgetable experiences, like the attack of "bubuyog" in our place wherein accordingly my parents and family members leave me alone in the "Kubo" as they run for life going to the Mataganas residence. I was one month old then sleeping in the hand made "duyan". They all thought I was dead but they discovered only one sting of the bee stuck on my head. My playmates were manobos. As years go by, our family moved to Sinangkangan and then to MIlbuk. Having a chance I wish I could go around Napnapon together with my family. Nice to recall the good old days, God bless us.
  • The Tismal Farm.. my father bought this farm around 1950's from the Domin Family while he was still working with Basilan lumber corporation. I remember planting coconut trees with my father during saturdays or sundays during the 60's.This farm supported my college education since the logging company Weyerhauser was renting the road inside our land and I withdraw the money montly from their Makati office
  • NAPNAPON !!!... Oh ya, nice little farm community situated about 10 miles from Sinangkangan interior. I went to school there in my first grade, one of my schoolmate is Loloy Mataganas he was then in fourth grade. Our teacher in that time is the famous Mr Alojado, he is the only teacher then in a single classroom all grades mixed together..Yes I remember Mr.Amado Romero, his property is next to my lolo magno bacomo. Mr. Romero has a daughter name Marcela (an NDM alumni) who got married to a friend of mind Mr. Asencio Mataganas... on those days BLC used to logged the nearby mountain in Napnapon and the BLC build a road thru the center of the barrio which is very benificial to the community... I remember my grandma used to make " Penesi" (twisted donut) to sell to the logger during breatime...
