Davao City, officially the City of Davao (Cebuano: Dakbayan sa Dabaw; Hiligaynon: Dakbanwa sang Davao; Tagalog: Lungsod ng Dabaw), is a highly urbanized city in the Davao Region, Philippines. The city has a total land area of 2,443.61 km2 (943.48 sq mi), making it the largest city in the Philippines in terms of land area. It is the third-most populous city in the Philippines after Quezon City and Manila respectively, and the most populous city in Mindanao, in Davao Region, and outside of Metro Manila. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 1,776,949 people.

  • i was born in davao city particularly in matinaq tahimik davao city i study thier until my secondary education. i've been here in manila last 2001 but i never forget my homeland.. people are asking me about davao city i always lift it up.. but without my words i can hardly say that davao is really in progress and in good condition.. tourists may come and go there.. davao city has its own trademark.. all the people there are trustworthy and honest.. hardworking and loving.. i love davao city.. davao city rocks!!!!!!

  • my home city. I say one of the best not crowded, not congested easy to go thru. Everything is cheap. Close to the hi lands Mt. Apo, Close to white sand beaches Samal resort. And a big sity for night life. its a melting pot of cultures and tradition. Control crime.. Good work mayor Duterte.

  • Davao maraming Durian at mababait na tao. We stayed there for 4 days the hotel is great and so is the food. Also many places to go there.
  • Davao City is a safe place to live. You can roam freely without worrying about snatchers, etc. The place is not polluted and congested with traffic. It is a great place to stay. ;)
