A Brief History of C.S.I. Cathedral, Madurai
The C.S.I Cathedral which is considered to be the biggest Cathedral in South asia with the construction area of 20,000 sq.ft at Narimedu Madurai, in Gothic style combined with architectural elegance, a blend of Tamil culture and Theologycal significance was built to the glory of god and for the service of humanity and dedicated on the Easter Day the 30th March, 1986 by the then C.S.I. Moderator Rt.Rev.Dr.I.Jesudasan.

  • Cathedral Church, Madurai Very poor in Architect, Who design this Biggest Church, Lots of Man Made Pillar insides, But Huge amount was spent to construct this Cathedral. Many PC members loot the Cathedral property. Espclly, Nehru School plays vital role in this. Mar-2011, Silver Jubliee Year?????? Lots of money involving this renovation, but no Alteration and no modifications, just white washing the Church. I dont know Why Rev. Dassiyan is always behind the Bishop, I think he is just RIGHT HAND of the Bishop. he is creating lots of confusions inside the congregation. Cathedral Church is dominating by NADAR GROUP.

  • In this church there is a member who has done so much curroption of public money and this person just merely showing off in the church. He was from TWAD board who is retired and not able to even lead a good life. He is also part of Gideon association and he is a member of this Big church who comes from B.B.Kulam residing. He just shows off more but he cannot buy/own anything because of so many problems.
