Godavary River & Manjira River Confluence (Sangam (kandakuthi)

Here is the brindavan of Sri Vidyadeesha Teertha, Uttaradhi Matha. Godavari is Vruddha Ganga. Please see Sri Nipanikar's article in Madhwa Siddhanta, May 1994 issue, supported by Sri Raghavendra Rao of Mysore in the subsequent issue. There is confluence of 3 rivers - Godavari, Haridra, and Manjera. Sri Vidyadeesha Teertha's birth place is very nearby. The brindavan is in the compound of Sangameshwar temple in the Sangam village, Dharmabad taluk, Nanded distict. Approach is via Nizamabad or Bodhan. Aradhana is always 1 day before Sri Purandara dasa's aradhana. Madhvas at Nizamabad congregate at the brindavan and celebrate. The location is yet to be officially recognised by the Matha authorities.
