When I was studying in PSP High school, one day there was heavy rain and this kulam was full and overflowing. The Pudukottai - Kootampuli road near the lake was flooding with 2+ feet water.. Our bus driver was seeing the water on the right side and let the steering towards a ditch and but got stuck.. Had to walk home all the way, in rain
