You can reach it by a rent bycicle from La Digue Jetty on a small road across the hills.

    I've heard they make some fabulous hot dogs there. Worth a visit.

    actually, it is dangerous to swim there from May till September (there is a big warning sign)... we've been there in March, and had no problem swimming, though the waves were pretty high... I would only advise not to swim too far from the beach... our landlady told us, unfortunately, people drown there each year... but the beach is one of the most beautiful and free from the tourists... (i attached some pictures) there is also a lovely small restaurant... I do not know about hotdogs, but they make very good grilled fish there...
