Betty's Bay is a quiet seasonal village suited to outdoor living. Walking, hiking, swimming, surfing, cycling & sand boarding are the sort of activities here.
There are small semi-private beaches with rocks and rock pools surrounding them. Even in the busy season, the beaches are not heavily populated.
Close to Bettys Bay are the Stony Point land-based Penguin Colony, Harold Porter National Botanical Garden & the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve.
The walks, hikes, picnic spots and cycle routes in the Harold Porter Gardens and Kogelberg Reserve are wilderness areas form the central core of the Cape Floral Kingdom and are home to a range of flora & fauna species. The Palmiet River is also for swimming or canoeing.
