Netherlands / Noord-Holland / Amsterdam / Keizersgracht, 174-176

At the time it was built (1904/1905), this building scandalised Amsterdam by being higher than any church at the time. Former bank, former insurance building. Along with the American Hotel in Leidseplein, an example of some style architecture often incorrectly called "Art Nouveau" but the correct term is jugendstil.

Often referred to as the "Greenpeace Headquarters", but Greenpeace moved to a different location in january 2004.
