One of the oldest Houses in Kakinada. The second house to get electric connection. The house was built by famous kakinada citizen and a trusted treasurer to Sir Arthur Cotton, Shri Duggiaral Surya Prakasa Rao and later bequeatehed to his daughter Smt. Lakshmi Narasamma. The New owner is Sri Vasudeva Murty, who is a well respected Maths professor and retired as a princial from the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The house also saw the childhood of renowned inventor Raghavendra Rao Turlapati whose technologies like Petroleum fuels from Plastic are well have become well known world-wide.
