Šateikiai was a soviet Surface Launch Complex’es of the 79th Plungė Regiment of the 29th Missile Division. The 79th Plunge Regiment was deployed with R-12 (SS-4) Missiles.
The 79th also deployed a Dvina four-Silo Complex close to Plokštinė, open to the public as the “Exposition of Militarism”.
