Late Maharaja Kameshwar singh spent his last years hear with his beloved youngest Maharani Kamsundari and died on the stirs of this very pond, perhaps due to a massive heart attack,(postmortum examination was not done) while washing his hands after using toilet, in early sixties(1961-62).
