  • This is the pond called as Gangasagar, a beautiful pond, situated in the west of the road that links Darbhanga and laheria sarai and in the south of digghi pokar. A lot of story is behind this pond. This lake is a source of income for fisherman
  • What i can say about this beautiful pond...this is in d heart of the city n i m lucky enough to have a beautiful house at its southern bank. This pond looks like a sky and all d "Diyas" like stars during Diwali and the holy festival of Chhat... As Chandan mentioned,it is a vital source of income for fishermen. Our elders have given us this asset,now it is our responsibility to keep it clean. And also government should come forward and try to link the three major ponds of Darbhanga and make it a tourist spot...the generated revenue would be used for its modification and beautification..Jai Mithila,Jai Maithil.

Bhigo is a small locality on the banks of Bagmati river. Where I spent my childhood more and do more. Bathing in the river, fish catch, jump, play in the mud remember the days spent with friends is over. River dam jogging, walking-walking in the garden to eat Mango -Lychee break was fun.
