This impressive building was constructed in the style of a Jacobean country house in 1616 for Ralph Wilbraham. The house has many attractions of note such as the beautiful plaster ceilings and panelling that are complimented by the intriguing collections of furniture and pictures.
The immediate grounds are also spectacular with 18 acres of land that are adorned with herbaceous borders, fine specimen trees and a rock garden that contains interesting flora.
