Wiverton Hall dates back to the mid 15th Century and was a fortified castle, much of which was destroyed by Cromwell in the mid 17th Century with only the Gate House and Guard Room left standing and forming part of the present day Hall.The current property was created by the Chaworth family in the early to mid 19th Century and the restoration of this unique country house has been completed by the current owners over the last ten years.
