Rajasthan is situated in north west part of india, touching Pakistan border. Capital city of Rajasthan is Jaipur. Rajasthan is approximate 324,239 sq. km. in area nearly 10 times that of Netherlands with the population of 56,507,188 accroding to 2001 census. Population of the state is nearly equal to that of Italy. A large part of west of the state is covered by Thar desert.
