Hisar, previously spelled Hissar, is the administrative headquarters of Hisar district in the state of Haryana in northwestern India. Hisar was founded in 1354 AD, as Hisar-e-Firoza by Firuz Shah Tughlaq, the Turkic ruler, who reigned over the Sultanate of Delhi from 1351 to 1388. Firoz Shah also brought the waters of the Yamuna river to the city by means of a canal.

  • Rao Sahib, This is Vikas. I belong to Village Bhatol Jattan which is 20 KMS away from Balyali as well as Jamalpur. Bhatol Jattan and Bhatol Ranghran are twin villages. The muslims residents (Ranghar caste) of village Bhatol Ranghran migrated to Pakistan in 1947. The other prominent Muslim neighbor villages were Khanig, Moth Rangharan etc. Hansi is a major town, famous for muslim religious place: Char Qutub.
