Barra de Catuama (80 km north from Recife, Pernambuco (BR), in the city of Goiana, is where you'll find pure sun, white sand, mangrove stands, semi-deserted beaches and calm waters. If you ever visit Catuama, have to enjoy lobsters, crabs, fried fish and other local seafood’s.

My advice? Barra de Catuama beach is beautiful and shallow, allowing you to walk hundred of meters into the water without any problem. This tropical bliss is cut by waterways leading into the open sea and dotted by sand dunes, which appears in all its splendor at low tide.
