Boa Viagem Beach

The most important beach in Recife is Boa Viagem Beach, adjoining the district of Jaboatao Dos Guararapes. The 7-km beach lines with the Boa Viagem Avenue, planty of skyscrapers, and residential coastline, with jogging lane, bike lane, stalls and gardens. The sea is quiet plenty of natural pools shaped by coral reefs and its water presents a mean temperature of 26 degrees Celsius (78.8 ºF). The seascape is the location of several events, like the summer official opening, sports tournaments, shows and the traditional Reveillon (New Year's Eve).
