It has ten's of flowering specimen's of over 50 species of roses, belonging to different groups - Hybrid tea, Polyantha, Climbers and Standart (tall-stem) roses. Here we can see the hybrid tea varieties: 'Jorianda', 'Madame Meilland', 'Olde Romeo', 'Papa Meilland', 'Violette Perfumee'. The fragrance that fills this part of the garden in June is intoxicating.
