UNDAVALLI CAVES are anicient caves built in the 6th century by Chalukyan kings. (similar to AJANTA AND ELLORA CAVEs but, limited to only one cave)
Archeological survey of India manages it and entrance fee is Rs.5/-only.
Lord vishnu (sesha sayana) is in the 3rd floor. View of a canal of Krishna river and green fileds in the surroundings are very attractive.
Approach : From Vijayawada Prakasam barriage auto rikshaws ply to Undavalli center (Rs.5/-) From Undavalli center towards right side tempo stand take another auto rikshaw that goes to near by village and on the way one can stop at Undavalli caves (Riksha Charges : Rs.5/- only)
