Fairytale Resort

Abandoned resort "Fairytale" (Kazkovy, Skazochniy) in the south zone of Chernobyl. Until 1986 it was a large and actively working center taking children on vacations. Their parents were mostly power plant employees.

There are several buildings with rooms (each with its own balcony), in which children lived during their stay. However, judging by the layout, there were also a large campsite with places designated for small fires and benches.

Liquidators started to be housed here in May of 1986. On the visible benches arranged in a semicircle debated liquidators, as can be seen in the archive recordings: youtu.be/-M_tYuGfXdY?t=4m50s

Currently, the resort is part of the forest. At times it's hard to tell where it begins and where it ends. That there was one of the bases of liquidators.
