  • The correct name is Bhairavgad. The location on map shows temple and not actual fort. Fort is exactly in front of this temple. This Bhairavgad is one among 4 Bhairavgad found in Sahyadri. This is a fort was used as a watch tower for keeping watch on the trade route. It takes about 4 Hrs from Koyna nagar to reach this temple via Dhangarwada and Ramghal. Further down towards south there is Patharpunj village on 1.5 hour walking distance.
