Al Mahatta refuge camp (Amman)

In this camp , settlement started early in the fifties of the last century by Arabs who emigrated from west bank of Jordan to Amman.
The camp is not registered in the scope of official services and a UNRWA relief agency records , but was randomly organized and still is not a subject to any regulatory measures . it harbours a number of sons and grandsons of "Palestinian" refugees of the war between Arabs and Jews in Palestine and result in establishment the State of Israel in 1948 and the displacement of the majority of the "Palestinian" people
