Tubabao Island

Philippines / Eastern Visayas / San Policarpo /
Island Barangay of Oras, Eastern Samar. Also known as Sta Monica. About 10 kilometers from Oras. This is a fishing village which supplies the nearby town with their products. This also known for their Rimas trees (Breadfruit) which is abundant in this island.

Note:

This is not to be confused with the other Tubabao Island, in Guiuan also in Eastern Samar, which became a temporary settlement of about 5,000 Russian Refugees in 1949-1950.

    This is the place where I really belong. Anywhere i go, I won't forget the place where I grown up. My Beloved place of Tubabao. I miss everything there specially my family.All people residing in that very beautiful Island! I miss the white sands,sea shells, tarukog...loved it!
