Volcano: The Blast Coaster was a launched inverted roller coaster at Kings Dominion. Designed by Swiss manufacturer Intamin Amusement Rides, it was the only full-circuit inverted launch coaster ever built. At the former site of the Haunted River, Smurf Mountain, and the Time Shaft.

The ride was extremely popular with park guests and enthusiasts. However, the design was a prototype and plagued with technical issues, as well as being a maintenance nightmare due to its location inside and around the artificial mountain. Due to high maintenance costs and inability to acquire replacement parts, the coaster was closed prior to the 2018 season. On February 8th, 2019, Kings Dominion announced the removal of the ride. It, and the mountain it was built within, was demolished in May 2019.
