Webster County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of 2000, the population is 14,120. Its county seat is Dixon[1]. The county is named for Daniel Webster. It's a prohibition or dry county.

Webster County is part of the Western Coal Fields region of Kentucky. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 336 square miles (869 km²), of which, 335 square miles (867 km²) of it is land and 1 square miles (2 km²) of it (0.28%) is water.
