The monumental St. Mary Annunciation Church, Plasy Cistercian Provost´s Residence and Ambulatory with fresco paitings were built according to the plans designed by Jan Blažej (Giovanni Blasio) Santini in the 18th century for Cistercian Monastery Plasy in top barocco style. During domain of well known austrian chancellor Klemens Wenzel Lothar Prince of Metternich-Winneburg served this complex of buildings as a hayloft. The copper roof was taken down and the dome of the church crashed down. Complete reconstrution of ruins ran over last 90 years and finished in 2000. At present has been served as a regional museum. Internal appointment of the church is subsequently completed, at this time have been missed very much of former barroque plenitude : pictures, altars, chairs, organ, mural and ceiling frescos etc. As well as interior of this grandiose church has been imposed very impressively in its simplicity to the visitors eyeview and is regard as a one of the jewells between Czech barroque architectonic patrimony.
