Southgate Mall is a medium sized mall along Whitemud freeway. Predating larger malls such as West Edmonton Mall, Southgate has a wide variety of shops along with a single foodcourt.

In recent years it has undergone a large number of improvements bringing it up from an older run down state to a bright, modern place to go.

  • And there is major construction work in progress, building a major expansion to the west side of the mall that will be finished in summer 2009. Also under construction in the middle of 111 Street is an LRT station with overpass to the mall.
