Daedurado, or Daedura Island, has an area of 1.01 ㎢ with a population 296 (2001). The entire island consists of rolling hills with sloping farmland throughout. Monotonous coast is mostly rocky. The climate is generally warm and rainy. The average January temperature is 1°C, the average August temperature is 25°C. Annual precipitation is about 1,365 ㎜.

Villages are mainly on the east coast with hills surrounding the rest. More than half of the residents are engaged in agriculture and others in aquaculture. The main agricultural products are potatoes, barley, sweet potato, rice, beans, radishes, and garlic. Nearby good fishing grounds provides anchovies, octopus, abalone, mussels

Daedurado is part of the Archipelago Marine National Park.
