    Retired head master Mallampati Hari Parasada Rao garu hails from this place. He taught in Z.P. High Schools in Moparru, Amruthaluru, Govada etc. He was a dedicated teacher and inspired many of his students. Few of his students from Moparru settled in US and he is part of our fond memories of our school days.

    Dr. Naiduamma was a great scientist of India. He was famous for much research done in leather industry. He was a director for Leather Research Institute in Madras (Chennai) and an advisor for science & technology for the Goverment of India for several years. He was also a personal secretary to Mrs Indra Gandhi, when she was the Prime Minister of India. He was a vice-chancellor for Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Institute in New Delhi. Further he was the Secratary General for United Nations in Scientific Affairs. Unfortunately, he died during the AirIndia's Kanishka plane accident on June 23rd in 1985 while he was returning back to India from Canada. The plane crash took place near abouts the shores of England.
