HCA Mountain Minerals at Moberly produces silica sand, which is used in the manufacture of high quality glass. It also produces a white grade of "golf course sand" which is excellent for bunkers., as well as sandblast sand. The flint-grade silica sand mine is located a few KM to the southeast.
