Dog Island

Really more of a sandbar than an island, it's only above water at low tide. There are no plants, no animals, and best of all, no bugs. As a result, Dog Island has long been a favorite meeting point of people with small boats, who meet here to have cookouts and bonfires and tailgate parties without having to contend with clouds of mosquitoes.
