A locally-famous water-filled sinkhole called "The Blue Sink." At the surface, it's not much larger than a home swimming pool, but it's well more than 100 feet deep, and much, much wider at the bottom than the top. The water is very clear, and the rocks along the sides of the bottleneck about 15 feet down make it appear blue. It was a popular swimming hole and teenager hang-out spot for as far back as anyone in this area can remember. It was also something of a tradition to dump abandoned cars in it, and there are probably quite a few still on the bottom.

In the 1970s, some scuba divers began exploring the Blue Sink, which has a number of tunnels and caves running underwater off in all directions. These are somewhat fragile and prone to collapse, as well as twisting, turning, pitch black, and altogether very dangerous. Several divers have died over the years exploring them.

In the early 1980s, the property the Blue Sink was on was sold to real estate developers who turned the area into a large subdivision. One family bought the plot the Sink was on, and built their house on it, and fenced in the whole thing. It is now privately owned and no longer open to the public.
